On March 16th, OPSWA President, Miranda Ferrier, spoke at the UN Side Summit to discuss the Impact of Women Leaders on COVID-19. Two panels highlighted the impact of women in leadership on COVID-19 outcomes, explored the feminist economic recovery plan models, and provide diverse perspectives of missing voices and willing partners needed to design a strong, sustainable and just post-COVID-19 vision. Canadian Minister, Maryam Monsef, moderated the round-table discussions.
